Are the viewers in Echoless real people?
No. Every viewer in the Echoless chat is AI, and the app says so in the chat window. Echoless is a practice tool: it gives you something to talk to and react to while your real audience grows.

Does Echoless post anything to Twitch or YouTube?
Never. Echoless does not write to any streaming platform and does not show fake viewer counts. The chat lives in its own window on your PC. Pro can read your real Twitch or YouTube chat and mix it in, clearly marked as real, but it never sends messages.
Can my viewers see the Echoless chat?
Only if you add the Echoless window to your OBS scene. Most streamers keep it on a second monitor. If you do show it on stream, say that the chat is AI.
Is my voice uploaded anywhere?
No. Speech recognition runs on your PC with whisper.cpp, and the chat runs on your PC through Ollama. Audio and transcripts never leave your computer.
What does it cost to run?
The free version costs nothing, and there are no API fees because everything runs on your PC. Pro is a monthly subscription that you can cancel at any time.
What do I need to run Echoless?
Windows 10 (version 2004 or newer) or Windows 11, 16 GB of RAM, and ideally an NVIDIA graphics card with 8 GB of video memory or more. The setup wizard checks your PC and installs the free tools Echoless needs.
Will it hurt my game's FPS?
Echoless is built to stay out of your game's way. It watches your graphics card and scales its own work down or pauses it before your game feels it, and speech recognition runs on the CPU. The Diagnostics screen shows exactly what it is using.
Is Echoless safe with anti-cheat?
Yes by design. Echoless never reads game memory, injects code, hooks graphics or simulates input. Game events come from official game integrations such as Valve's Game State Integration, and screen vision uses the same Windows capture API as OBS.
Which games does it support?
Voice reactions and silence nudges work with any game, or with no game at all. Game events (kills, wins, clutch moments, round and match results) from games with official live data are part of Pro, and Pro screen vision lets chat react to what is on screen in other games.
I talk to friends in another language while streaming. Will chat react to that?
No. Echoless checks the language of everything it hears and ignores anything that is not your stream language, so a Discord call in Georgian or Russian does not show up in chat.
What is in Pro?
Pro is for streamers who go live a lot and want chat right there in the match with them: game events the moment they happen, screen vision for other games, your real Twitch or YouTube chat mixed into the window, all ten regulars plus your own, Hype chat speed, full stats history and all themes. The free version keeps voice reactions, silence nudges, clip markers, memory between streams and basic stats forever.
How do I cancel Pro?
Open your account page and choose Manage subscription, or cancel in PayPal. Pro stays active until the end of the month you paid for, and there is no fee to cancel.
Who makes Echoless?
